Chateau L'Eglise Clinet, a wine estate in the Pomerol appellation of Bordeaux, on the right bank of the Dordogne, put its 2019 wine on sale at 204 euros ($228) a bottle ex-negociant in bond, down 2.9% from its 2018 release price, according to London-based online wine market Liv-ex. That compared with its 2018 release price of 210 euros, Liv-ex said. The 2019 vintage was the last made by winemaker Denis Durantou, who died last month. Durantou, who built up the vineyard over more than 35 years, was described by wine critic Neal Martin, writing in `Vinous,' as `a force of nature,' `inquisitive, and above all immensely kind.'
