Ausone Cuts Price of 2017 Vintage by 18% to 480 Euros a Bottle, Liv-ex Says

Chateau Ausone, one of the top Saint Emilion wine estates, priced its 2017 vintage at 480 euros ($560) a bottle ex-Bordeaux negociant, according to London-based online wine market Liv-ex. That represents a decline of 18 percent from its 2016 release price of 588 euros, Liv-ex said.

Chateau Ausone, whose history as a vineyard can be traced back to Roman times, is owned by the Vauthier family and has a historic location on a hilltop in the heart of the picturesque mediaeval town.
