Chateau Lafite-Rothschild priced its 2017 vintage at 420 euros ($489) a bottle ex-Bordeaux negociant, a reduction of 8% from its 2016 release price of 455 euros, according to London-based online wine market Liv-ex.

The release rounds off a three-month sales campaign which has seen prices for the Bordeaux 2017 vintage generally lowered by between 5 percent and 20 percent, sometimes more, relative to the 2016 wines.
