Chateau Margaux Puts '17 Wines on Sale at 17% Below 2016 Level, Liv-ex Says

Chateau Margaux, one of the first-growth wine estates of the Medoc, put its 2017 wines on sale at 348 euros ($410) a bottle ex-Bordeaux negociant, down 17 percent from its 2016 release level of 420 euros, according to London-based online wine exchange Liv-ex. Its second wine Pavillon Rouge was priced at 132 euros a bottle, up 16 percent from the 2016 price of 114 euros, according to Liv-ex.
