Bordeaux '17 Price Declines Continue With Pichon Lalande, Petit Village

The Bordeaux 2017 vintage sales campaign continued this week with price reductions relative to the 2016 vintage for several producers, including Chateau Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande and Chateau Petit Village, according to Liv-ex.

Pichon Lalande, a Pauillac second-growth, was put on sale at 90 euros ($106) a bottle, down 25 percent from the 2016 release price, according to Liv-ex data. Petit Village, a Pomerol estate owned by Axa Millesimes, was put on sale at 50.40 euros, down 7 percent from 2016. Chateau Calon Segur, a Saint Estephe wine estate, was released at 60 euros a bottle ex-Bordeaux negociant, down 4 percent from 2016, according to Liv-ex.
