Romanee-Conti '99 Sells for $41,825 at Hart Auction

A 12-bottle assorted lot of Domaine de la Romanee-Conti 1999 shared first place at the Hart Davis Hart Wine Co. auction in Chicago earlier this month, selling for $41,825, according to results from Hart posted on its website. A six-liter methuselah of La Tache 1985 DRC also sold for the same amount, while 12 bottles of Petrus 1989 fetched $38,240. The two-day sale ended Feb. 11 took in a total $5.66 million.
