Bordeaux 2016 Seen `Exciting' at Berry Bros., `High Quality' at Beychevelle

The 2016 vintage in Bordeaux has benefited from 16 weeks of exceptionally dry, sunny weather starting from late June and continuing through to the end of the harvest in mid-October, according to growers in the region and also Berry Bros. & Rudd CEO Dan Jago. Chateau Beychevelle manager Philippe Blanc described the harvest as "very high quality" after a "difficult" year, while Jago said the region's wines look "really exciting."
