Virginia Wineries Inspired by Jefferson

More than 200 years after Thomas Jefferson unsuccessfully planted vines around his home in Monticello, Virginia, the state's wine industry has reached the point where it is now the fifth-biggest in the U.S. in terms of wineries. Governor Terry McAuliffe was in London recently on a trade mission including winemakers from three of the state's leading vineyards. Click here for a link to my Bloomberg News article.
