Burgundy Back to 1961 on Sale at HDH

Hart Davis Hart Wine Co. is holding a two-day sale of Burgundy dating back to 1961 which carries a top total estimate of $5.79 million, its largest sale to date devoted exclusively to the region. Leading lots include 12 bottles of La Tache 1990 Domaine de la Romanee Conti, which carry a top estimate of $48,000, and a nine-liter Salmanazar of Montrachet 1986 Domaine Ramonet , with a top estimate of $35,000, according to an e-mail from Hart. The sale in Chicago starts April 1.
